Who are you?
Female and femme-identifying entrepreneurs in the video game industry at the idea or early development stage**. Whether you’re a startup leader, indie game developer, content creator, or other gaming innovator, t*gh GameChangeHERs seeks to support your initiatives.
*Requires submission of a business plan, a demo or prototype (if available), and a video pitch in the later application stage.
*Selection criteria will focus on innovation, feasibility, team capability, and potential market impact.
Program Objectives
Accelerate the development and growth of women-led gaming startups.
Strengthen the network of women entrepreneurs in the gaming industry.
Increase the visibility and representation of women in gaming.
Access to Capital
Seed Funding: Provide initial seed funding to each selected startup to kickstart their operations. This could be in the range of $50,000 to $100,000.
Investor Connect: Facilitate meetings with venture capitalists, angel investors, and gaming industry financiers who are committed to supporting diversity in tech.
Pitch Events: Organize regular pitch events where entrepreneurs can present their progress and seek additional funding.
Mentorship Program
Industry Mentors: Pair each startup with mentors who have a proven track record in the gaming industry. This includes successful entrepreneurs, executives from leading gaming companies, and technical experts.
Leadership Coaching: Provide access to leadership and business coaching focusing on areas such as strategic planning, marketing, and financial management.
Peer Mentorship: Encourage peer-to-peer mentorship and support networks within the cohort for shared learning experiences.
