COMMUNITY RULES

To support an inclusive and safe environment, abide by these Community Rules. If you have any questions about these Community Rules, contact us at letsplay@thegamehers.com.

The GMHRS App, powered by the*gamehers, is a space for positive, inclusive, and safe connections in the gaming community. By using the app, you agree to uphold this Code of Conduct to ensure a respectful and enjoyable experience for all members.

What GMHRS App is FOR:

Respect, Inclusion, and Positive Connection

The GMHRS App is designed to be a space where respect, inclusion, and positive engagement thrive. We are committed to cultivating a welcoming environment where all users feel safe, supported, and valued. This means treating everyone with kindness and respect while embracing the diversity of our community. Discrimination, harassment, or offensive language of any kind is not tolerated. This ensures an inclusive space for people of all genders, races, ethnicities, sexual orientations, religions, and beyond.

We encourage positive engagement by using the platform to build meaningful connections, share knowledge, and uplift others within the gaming community. Spamming, trolling, or disruptive behavior has no place here. Instead, we invite members to offer constructive feedback and contribute positively to the conversations that make this community special. Together, we can create a space that celebrates gamers and meaningful collaboration.

Hate Speech. Don't encourage violence or hatred. We prohibit content or behavior promoting or inciting the hatred of, or dehumanizing, individuals or groups based on race, ethnic or national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, age, immigration status, veteran status, sexual orientation, disability or disease. If you encounter content that violates our hate speech policies, please report it.

Harm to Minors. Don't post or solicit content that features the abuse of a minor, that includes suggestive or sexual content involving a minor or anyone that appears to be a minor, or that facilitates or promotes child sexual abuse. "Content" may include photos of real individuals, illustrations, animation, or text. Posting or reblogging child sexual abuse material is a serious crime for which we have no tolerance. We report all such instances to child protection organizations and law enforcement around the world, including the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. We do not allow profile photos of children on their own, profile photos with unclothed children. For the purposes of this policy, a minor is anyone under the age of 18.

Promotion or Glorification of Self-Harm. We care deeply about our members and understand that some may struggle with mental health, self-injury, suicidal thoughts, substance use, or eating disorders. While we do allow members to share personal experiences with these issues in a safe way, we do not allow any content that depicts, promotes, glorifies, or assists in activities that could lead to suicide, self-injury, or disordered eating or body image. We aim for the*gamehers App to be a place that facilitates awareness, support, and recovery, and we will remove only those posts or blogs that cross the line into active promotion or glorification of self-harm. If you’re facing difficulties and need someone to talk to, here are some  resources: 988lifeline, Crisis Text Line

Harassment. Our community is for creating positive connections. We don’t allow content or behavior that makes any individual or group feel harassed, bullied, or targeted. This includes belittling, insulting, or intimidating behavior; making unsolicited comments about someone’s appearance; engaging in emotional abuse; blackmail; repeated unwanted contact; or wishing, encouraging, or praising acts of violence. If someone is sending you unwanted messages, or reblogging your posts in an abusive way, we encourage you to be proactive. Report them and block them. And if someone blocks you, don't attempt to circumvent the block feature or otherwise try to communicate with them.

We do not tolerate sexual harassment. We consider sexual harassment to be any non-physical, unwanted, and/or unwelcome sexual behaviors between members. This includes cyberflashing (i.e. sharing unsolicited sexually explicit images), in-person indecent exposure, sharing or threatening to share sexual or intimate images without the consent of the person involved or depicted, sending unwanted sexual comments or images, and fetishization.

Spam. We do not permit any kind of unwanted or irrelevant content sent in bulk or high frequency. This includes sharing misleading or misdirecting links, creating an excessive number of accounts causing disruption to other members, or having multiple active profiles on our platform to engage in unwanted interactions.

Privacy Violations. Don't use the platform to deceptively obtain personal information. Do not post content that violates anyone's privacy, especially personally identifying or confidential information like credit card numbers, social security numbers, or unlisted contact information. Do not post private messages without the sender's consent.

Misinformation. We prohibit the sharing of demonstrably false or substantially misleading content that is likely to cause serious harm or negatively impact individual or public safety. This includes content that directly contradicts information and guidance from leading and reputable global health organizations and public health authorities, false or misleading information on any civic process, and dangerous and unproven conspiracy-type theories.

Violent and Graphic Content. We do not permit violent, graphic, or gory content. This includes descriptions of violence in usernames or profile content, photos containing actual or realistic-appearing blood, bodily fluids, injury, or images depicting guns of any kind (except on a uniformed member of law enforcement or military personnel).

Unlawful Uses or Content. We don’t allow members to use our platform to conduct illegal behavior, like fraud or phishing. Do not use the platform for any kind of purchase, sale, supply, or distribution of regulated drugs, substances, devices, goods, or weapons. This includes firearms, firearm parts, 3D-printed firearms or parts, explosives, ammunition, or anything else designed to hurt others. Additionally, exploiting or endorsing cheating, hacking, or other unethical or lawful gaming behavior, including gambling, is not allowed.

Adult Nudity and Sexual Activity. We do not permit nude, sexually explicit, or sexually vulgar profile content. We also do not allow the commercial exchange of any romantic or sexual activity, content, or services, including attempts to sell, advertise, or buy adult sexual content.

Human Trafficking and Prostitution. Using the platform to facilitate sex trafficking, other forms of human trafficking, or illegal prostitution is prohibited. If you see this activity, report it, and encourage victims to contact law enforcement or the National Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-888-373-7888.

Copyright or Trademark Infringement. Respect the copyrights and trademarks of others. If you aren't allowed to use someone else's copyrighted or trademarked work (either by license or by legal exceptions and limitations such as fair use), don't post it.

Platform Manipulation. We prioritize fostering a community built on genuine connections, so any attempts to artificially influence connections, matching, conversations, or engagement through the use of automation or scripting is strictly prohibited.

Notes On Self-Promotion

  • Individual Self-Promotion: Members may promote their personal projects, streams, or creative content within designated community areas for free, but please limit sharing external social media spaces or communities, not sponsored or TGH-supported meetups. Content must align with the community’s values of positivity and inclusion. Individuals looking to do a giveaway or sweepstakes must use the*gamehers' paid promotional services. For more information, please contact our partnerships team or review our advertising guidelines within the app at partnerships@thegamehers.com.

  • Organizational Self-Promotion: Organizations, brands, or influencers seeking to promote their products, services, or events are required to use the*gamehers' paid promotional services. For more information, please contact our partnerships team or review our advertising guidelines within the app at partnerships@thegamehers.com.

We reserve the right (but are not required) to investigate, suspend, and/or terminate any promotion we believe or suspect, in our sole discretion, may be fraudulent, unethical, or in violation of our policies, or any applicable laws. You assume all risk and liability for running any promotion.

About Moderation and Enforcement

Moderators and Hosts have the authority to enforce the Code of Conduct, which includes actions such as removing posts or banning users who violate its terms. It’s important to respect their decisions and engage with them courteously if any issues or concerns arise.

Enforcement Philosophy

All members must comply with the platform rules described and referenced in our Community Guidelines. If you behave in a way that goes against TGH’s Community Guidelines, values, or otherwise act in any way we believe to be potentially harmful to the platform or its members, we may take a range of actions on your account. When determining the penalty for violating our community guidelines, we consider a number of factors.

For example, we may:

  • Remove the content

  • Issue a warning

  • Ban the offending member from some or all the*gamehers app and platforms.

When necessary, we also may cooperate with law enforcement to assist in potential criminal investigations related to member conduct.

Your treatment towards others outside of the*gamehers app can also result in action against your account. If we’re made aware of harm between members on dates, meetups with friends, via text message or direct messaging platforms, or relevant alleged criminal or harmful conduct committed in your past or outside of the*gamehers, we may take action as if it happened on our platform.

About Feedback and Safety Report

At the GMHRS App, constructive feedback is vital for improving both the app and the community. Participating in surveys and discussions helps contribute to the platform's growth and ensures it reflects the needs of its members. Safety is a top priority, with human moderators monitoring content and accounts to ensure compliance with our Community Guidelines and Terms and Conditions. Members play a crucial role in maintaining this safe environment by using the Block & Report feature to address behavior or content that violates our guidelines. However, disagreements or personal dislikes are not grounds for reporting, and false or inappropriate reports—especially those targeting members based on protected attributes like gender identity—may result in action against the reporting party. As the app and community evolve, so will our guidelines, which we review and update regularly based on user feedback, emerging trends, and changing circumstances, maintaining transparency throughout the process.

Acknowledgment

By using the GMHRS App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by this Code of Conduct. Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans from the platform.
