Jess is an Emmy Award-winning storyteller who went into international peacebuilder work, training young activists all over the world. She and her behavioral science researcher co-founder teamed up with the best talent in the game industry to create Wicked Saints Studios— a Black/Female-led game studio backed by Riot Games— building the world's first adventure activism game called World Reborn. It's an interactive story game that tackles mental health, fosters healthy relationships, and activates young people to positively impact people and the planet with real-world quests that make real-life impact. Raising over $5M in venture capital, Jess joins an exclusive group of startups helmed by one of under 100 Black women founders who have ever raised $1 million or more.
