I believe esports is the most comprehensive educational tool available to learners from elementary through college. Over the past few years, I've had the privilege of assisting 30+ schools/districts, including LAUSD and NYC Public Schools, to start or expand their esports programs. I routinely share classroom and extracurricular resources, provide industry partners and collegiate connections throughout the esports ecosystem, and show teachers, coaches, and directors how to create and leverage esports internships. I encourage everyone I support to build foundational esports programs that focus on college and career readiness, CTE pathway integration, and social/emotional development. By placing emphasis on developing the whole student, programs attract a more diverse and inclusive student group, making esports an inviting environment and ensuring proper representation for all learners.
